Drinking The Cup : A Journey Through Cancer will speak to the many thousands of people diagnosed with ovarian cancer each year, together with their families and carers.

The 38 year old author recounts her experience in fighting the silent killer. It is an honest and open account of the first year of living with cancer.

The book, a powerful combination of diary, poems and prayers, will be a valuable resource for anyone facing this disease. It is also essential reading for clergy, lay ministers, and all those accompanying others on this demanding and often painful journey, giving an insight into difficult questions that many cancer sufferers face about God.

I cannot claim to have found any answers, but I hope that my searching will help others to come to their own place of knowing and understanding before God.
