At 38, and at the beginning of her training for priesthood in the Anglican church, Melanie thought the way ahead was clear. The diagnosis of ovarian cancer in April 2004 shattered her world, and forced her to come to terms with
difficult questions about God and her vocation.
Melanie Groundsell is an ordinand, a qualified librarian and teacher, trained Cruse counsellor, and a talented musician. Her hobbies include trampolining, unicycling and juggling.
